Vulnerable Families
For vulnerable families, everyday life can be shaped by overlapping financial, social, emotional, and structural pressures – making it harder to access support, sustain wellbeing, and navigate essential services.
Our work focuses on understanding how vulnerable families navigate fragmented support systems across social services, health, education, housing, and justice. Using sensitive, participatory, and human-centred design approaches, we work with families, frontline practitioners, and decision-makers to map lived journeys, identify moments of stress and breakdown, and uncover structrual gaps that affects access and outcomes.
We create safe and respectiful spaces for families to share their experiences and meaningfully participate in shaping services, programmes, and support pathways. By translating lived experiences into actionable insights, we support the design of more coordinated, accessible, and sensitive systems that strengthens resilience, continuity of care, and long-term outcomes for vulnerable families.
