Keenly interested in the value of perspective, Phillip believes that every individual - no matter their situation - is uniquely positioned to understand a problem in a particular way. Unlocking this golden potential gives him great satisfaction. Consequently, he’s made it his mission to unearth these perspective-driven insights, then help build the connections between them and the change makers.
Phillip has immersed himself in the digital world, making it his business to know and understand the rapidly evolving intersection between creativity and technology. The many new opportunities for networking, interaction and the processing and distribution of knowledge are a constant source of inspiration that help Phillip find innovative solutions.
A background in graphic design puts Phillip in a strong position to manage complex datasets and produce artefacts that present information in an engaging, accurate and efficient format. He has worked with the national transport agency to visually map the implications of big data for end users. He has also helped one of the leading primary industry bodies in New Zealand conduct a qualitative assessment of operators in the field to inform their international marketing strategies.
Phillip is a recent graduate with an honours degree in visual communication design. He is currently a student of Massey University’s master of design programme.
