IMPACT AREAS

Aging

Longer lifespans bring new opportunities, but also evolving challenges – shifts in healthcare needs, social support, and opportunities for engagement can affect autonomy, wellbeing, and quality of life for older adults.

Our work focuses on understanding the experiences of people across different stages of later life. Using participatory and human-centred design approaches, we collaborate with citizens of all ages, especially the elderly, service providers, and policymakers to identify current and future needs, map care and service pathways, and co-create solutions that address real-life challenges.

We design inclusive services, intergenerational spaces, and policy interventions that empower older adults to contribute their voices and shape solutions that support independence, dignity, and social connection. By embedding lived experiences into design, we strengthen services responsiveness, enhance wellbeing, and foster active healthy, and meaningful aging across communities.
