Dr Debbie Ng is a distinguished design leader with over 15 years of experience driving transformative change across complex public and social challenges through human-centered design. As Regional Director of ThinkPlace Singapore and Asia (Government), she collaborates with organizations across sectors to shape innovative, sustainable futures, leveraging design as a powerful force for social good. Debbie excels in navigating intricate, multi-dimensional problems where solutions are ambiguous, applying her expertise in change leadership through ethnography, participatory action research, co-design, and design leadership. Her methods foster transformative experiences that generate impactful, actionable outcomes for her clients.

Fueled by a deep commitment to empowering others, Debbie dedicates herself to coaching public leaders and advancing women’s causes, recognizing the far-reaching influence of inspired, supported individuals. Debbie is an expert in Design leadership in the public sector, having recently completed her doctoral studies in design thinking leadership at the NUS Division of Industrial Design, Debbie’s academic and professional pursuits converge on enabling human-centered, strategic transformation. Known for her visionary leadership and empathetic approach, she brings together creativity, rigor, and compassion to address pressing societal issues, advancing the future of public service and social impact through design innovation.

Debbie is currently an Associate Trainer with the Civil Service College where she coaches public sector leaders in Design Leadership.
